Last week on k7v.in
I kept the laptop away last week. The kids stayed with their grand-parents while my other half and I moved flats. We’re closer to the school, closer to friends, closer to the train station and still enjoy an incredible view on one of Lyon’s river. It’s pretty cool (at least before moving across ocean) 😊 Happy new year everyone 🥂

🤖 Love it or hate it but OpenAI is doing important work -every damn day- so when Sam -its CEO- is blogging, I can’t recommend enough to read him directly: Reflections.
We started OpenAI almost nine years ago because we believed that AGI was possible, and that it could be the most impactful technology in human history. We wanted to figure out how to build it and make it broadly beneficial; we were excited to try to make our mark on history. Our ambitions were extraordinarily high and so was our belief that the work might benefit society in an equally extraordinary way.
🫂 I’ve been interested in cooperatives for a little while -which lead to
typically- and I do believe such structures have a tremendous role to play in society. So I’ve been excited to read ’s plan to build a media “owned by writers interested in a better future”.
